HELP: Never been on a GO Bus

I'm not sure about GO Bus but when you register your card you register the age range you are in and it deducts that amount. Say you register it as Hamilton Student. If i were to go on HSR it would take 2 dollars per trip (10 ticket price), not 2.55 the cash value

lol ya I was on the bus one time and the driver talked for what was literally 10 minutes about the card so it kind of got drilled in my head

I commuted this year so I bought the monthly pass in those months where I was going to school 5 days a week, 4 weeks a month, and I saved around 1/3 of the price (around $100/month!) but when I did the 4 days/week thing (and this summer school) I ran with the Presto, and it's really convenient when you're on MiWay/Brampton transit/TTC/HSR. So if you're commuting, go with monthly pass or if you're oncampus go with Presto (since there's no more 10-pass lol).
I love the Presto, so convenient once you get used to it and no more buying physical tix (except where Presto isn't accepted eg Milton)

tl;dr: Presto ftw.
