I'm Emeric,
I'm a french student and I'll study for 4 months in Mc Master new year (Fall)

Coming from France, I'm a little bit worried about one thing, is anybody knowing a good way to find a place to live (better for me off campus with Canadian students in a house), but only for 4 months. When I look at the website of the university, I only find some announcements for 8 or 12 months leasing.

Leases are usually always 12 months. I've never seen a month-to-month or 4-month lease unless it was for a sublet. It's easy to find a 2-4 month sublet during the summer.. but in the Fall (september) it will be very difficult.
