Hlth Age 3q03
Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone has taken HLTH AGE 3Q03 and what they thought of it. Im planning on taking it however, I can't seem to find any course reviews on it. Im looking for a course to help lighten my course load.

Thanks.

hey,

I took this course with Dr. Andrews. It was not a bad course. The material gets pretty dry, but it's not heavy on work load. I heard they change the topic each year, but you can have a look at the course outline. Dr. Andrews is very nice and approachable. But he wanted really good essays with all the critique and tying everything back to the course material. That's not hard to do, but you kind of have to ask him what he's looking for and then you're good. The exam was short answers, fill in the blanks, T/F and long answers, and wasn't bad at all. I know people got 8's and 9's with just giving facts in the presentation and the paper. So, going a step further and critiquing the theories in all assignments can get you an A. As long as you attend most of the classes, you get a 100% on the attendance component. So, I'd say it's pretty light on the work load component. Plus he has an English accent which is pretty cool! Good luck with the course

It depends on the prof, because it's sort of a seminar course! I'm taking it right now with Dr. Neiterman and it's great! There's quite a bit of readings, but it's super interesting. Definitely check who the prof is though as that can affect how the course will be!
