Homegroup
Hey guys, last week when I was at mac using my laptop an icon appeared on my desktop “Homegroup” and I didn’t really know what it is, I don’t recall downloading such a thing. I tried to get rid of it but didn't know how, I think it left by itself or because I refreshed the desktop o.0

Anyways this morning the same icon appeared on my desktop….does anyone know why it keeps appearing, or what is it's purpose here ?

Thanks guys

Sounds like a network, other than that, I have no clue what you're talking about

Usually a "homegroup" is something that happens when you connect to a "home network" that automatically allows sharing between your computer and the computers around you. If you want this to stop you could simply change the settings of the network you're connecting to and that should fix the issue.

as far as i know you cant uninstal it, but unless you have more then 1 computer or you actually have files to share over you shouldnt worry about it. i tried to get it for my laptop and desktop and i couldnt even get it to work
