With the honours communication studies program, are you able to do a minor in another subject of your choice? Or must you do a Combined Honours in Communications and another subject?

You should be able to do a minor as long as you can get the 24units and there are no other restrictions. You can find minor requirements in the undergraduate calendar. http://registrar.mcmaster.ca /CALENDAR/current/

You can most definitetly get a minor in Communications! You have the option to get a combined Honours in Communications and another Social Science/Humanities program, but you most certainly don't have to. I am just doing Honour Communications with a minor in Linguistics, so not to worry! :0
