If you have OSAP enquiries it's the SFAS; 24319.
If you don't need OSAP or this isn't about OSAP, you call up 905 525 9140. Dial "0". Ask the operator to connect you to the Registrar's Office and stay on the line until you are connected to an agent who will help you out. (Don't press any of the options. Sometimes they just lead to prerecorded messages and after they're done, the line disconnects and you have to call up Mac again and...no.)

no heres the problem, my father went to Mcmaster to pay as he was golfing in Hamilton. So he paid and then he told me he paid 6200.41. I checked my payment agreement and it is 6200.51. If it is 10 cents off will they send check back and make me pay late charges? (my dad paid in drop box).

This happened to me before (I was 40 cents off) and they will charge interest on your balance (10 cents) until you pay it off. So they will still take your cheque but you can also literally go to the students account office in gilmore hall and pay off the 10 cents before you get interest.

That's crazy that they'll start charging you interest for a simple mistake. They should just notify people they they accidentally under paid.

Interest on 10 cents is just another cent.

Some people also underpay because they can't afford to pay the full amount. So it's not always an accident.

When does the interest start accumulating when you agree to pay in full?
To ask the same question from another post, if I owe $916.95 and I pay on the 3rd, how much will I be charged apart from the $35 late fee?

Interest accumulates at the end of each month.

I mean if they under pay like less like $5-10 dollars it is probably a mistake in the numbers.

Obviously is they under pay a large amount it may be for other reasons.

10 cents difference is obviously a mistake.

Does anyone know how long it would take for the Account Statement to change on MUGSI? I paid by cheque (RESP), but that was like 8 business days ago :(. And it still hasn't shown up =/

Not too sure about cheques but you have to take into consideration all the cheques that McMaster is receiving not to mention that they have to process it.

True, but should I still call just in case, or wait some more =/ to see if I was charged the late fee?
