haha, you should be totally fine, no worries. you'll meet tonnes of new people in classes, trust me. welcome week for me was bonding time with my existing friends, but i'm a Hammer kid, so my results are not typical

side note: if i had a quarter for every time i've seen a forum with that title...i'd have 25 cents! we must be doing something right...

Yeahh, I think I met one person at WW and I don't talk to her anymore haha. You'll make more friends through classes, esp. tutorials, and clubs.

Don't worry about it. You should be having fun wherever you're at!

I was in similar situation in first year and missed out on frosh week for other reasons, yet I still managed to meet a ton of people.

As long as you're outgoing, willing to introduce yourself and willing to remember some names, you'll meet tons of people.

I came yesterday to mac...awesome campus! will move in today And ofcourse...i can't miss going to the football game today, it will be my first time!!!

To be honest, I can recollect only blips of people and faces from my WW. I made allmy friends in my class, labs and parties. Honestly, people used to ask me"didnt we meet during ww?"...i would go/////yes......sure....ahah ahhahaha.....honestly ...dont worry
