I wanted these course so badly! Anybody else in the same plight, and have waited till drop period for these course to open up? Did people in fact drop these courses?

Yeah, I'm in the same situation... It doesn't look like these courses are going to open up anytime soon... I check quite often and they are both full everytime. There is still time though...

Yeah, these courses suppose to be the highlight of my third year. I don't know what I'm going to take if I don't get them. Maybe some upper years had this problem but found out later that they got in... hmmm

I wanted to take 3K03 last year and by the time I got on to course registration at 12:15 am, it had filled up and never opened up.

This year I got into it but even before 3rd years had a chance to choose it had filled up. This could mean that they had reserved a small number of seats for 3rd years and those spots are filled up OR it could mean that only 4th years got in (unlikely)

Anyways, don't give up - keep checking obsessively especially after timetables are released and once SOLAR reopens - people will then see conflicts and perhaps drop the courses.
