So I checked out the course review for this course, I was wondering if there are any other opinions out there?

it's an incredibly interesting and relevant course. don't let the difficulty scare you away...it's easy enough to do well on the midterms (at least when I took it 2 years ago), just the exam was brutally marked for us.
I learned SO much in this course and despite just doing okay, I decided to take the advanced immunology which was wayyy more interesting (and easy). This course will put a lot of things you may learn in other courses into perspective for you...for example i found this course highly relevant to mol bio 4h03 and even more so to hth sci 3k03.
so yes it's not a bird course and its no walk in the park, but it is certainly interesting.

Hey SciMania, which is easier, 3k03 or 3i03? And which did you find more interesting? If I only have room for 1 next year, for example, which would you recommend? Thanks ^_^

This review is old. The midterms are tough and long, you'll barely finish in time. The assignments are marked arbitrarily too.
Also, this course practically teaches out of the book. The profs will just tell you to read the textbook which you can do yourself. The lectures are pretty much terrible.

They are both difficult but 3k03 is definitely more interesting. There is also no textbook reading for 3k03. 3i03 is super boring a lot of the times but the applications of the knowledge in 3i03 are very useful.

True...you are in molecular biology... this course is all textbook reading, regurgitating and hardcore memorizing with the gayest tests

Come on people, this course can't be that bad. I believe my close friends ended up scoring in the double digits and they mentioned something about the course being curved. Why the hate?

I found 3k03 to be easier. Interest wise, I found 3I03 to be more interesting, but enjoyability wise I would say 3k03 just because there's no drama in 3k03 (i.e. they actually want you to do well).
3i really helps you in 3k so if u can only take one I'd say take 3i.
