A new tradition is starting at McMaster! The year-end MAC BLOCK PARTY.

THE NEWEST McMASTER TRADITION IS BORN

FROM THE PEOPLE WHO BROUGHT YOU WELCOME WEEK, HOMECOMING AND FROST WEEK, COMES MCMASTER'S INAUGURAL YEAR-END BLOCK PARTY

To celebrate the end of class, the McMaster University Alumni Association, the Student Success Centre and the McMaster Students Union have partnered to create a truly awesome experience. We will Light Up the Night with thousands of bulbs strung between campus buildings, culminating with a fireworks show shortly after 10 PM.

The inaugural year-end block party will feature carnivalesque rides, games and food. Ride the Gravitron, have fun with friends in the bumper cars, or take in the view from the ferris wheel. Stroll the street playing the midway games and enjoy traditional festival food. In addition, Light Up the Night will boast two DJ booths and a main stage. Special guests USS will take the main stage after 9 PM.

This is a free event, all are welcome and parking is provided!

- Concert is open to everyone
- Rides and Games you need 1 person to have a student card, each Mac student allowed to bring 1 guest

This event sounds like so much fun! I was just wondering if other students who don't go to Mac are allowed to come too. My bf goes to York University and he's interesting in going.

They should postpone it until thursday. The weather tomorrow is horrible. Its 2 with rain. After that its 15 everyday ..... Bad luck

For those wondering about who can come, outside of Mac, etc.

MSU President posted "We are not encouraging people outside of the McMaster community to come, but for rides and stuff it is one student card/2 people, so you could bring a friend/date!"

So you need a student card to participate in the rides and games.

However, the concert is open to all.
