Info Workstudy
Can someone please clarify the workstudy application process to me. I don't know how I am suppose to fill out the form on mugsi. This is how I understand it. I print it and sign it and submit it to finance aid office along with other documents? Then later after approval (lets assume), I would upload the approval on oscarplus alongside my resume and cover letter. If I'm wrong please explain it to me. Also, do I have to be approved for workstudy to work anywhere on campus (like titles, tank, library, student centre, etc.)?
Thank you so much!!!

umm no not quite.

1) once you click on the form on mugsi and it appears it means you are confirmed for work study
2) save that to your computer
3) apply to profs or whoever on oscarplus and attach that form
4) once a prof hires you you fill that form out with him and hand it into the office

Done

... though its a bit late to start applying, many jobs are often filled well before the date they expire on oscar plus (which is seriously annoying that they dont take them done once they are filled) if you are applying now it is best to email the prof directly, IMO and ask whether the work study position is still available.

I don't find it fair that if your graduating you are not eligible. We still have OSAP debts to pay!

It's a funding issue. You're no longer a student at Mac. Also, many of these positions are looking for people to carry over into the school year.
