MacAbroad is a program run by the International Student Services Department here at McMaster. MacAbroad can provide you with the opportunity to study abroad at one of our 70 partner institutions across the globe!
Students usually apply in their second year to go abroad in their
third year.
Why Study Abroad?
- Take unique courses that are only offered at certain institutions overseas
- The credits you complete overseas transfer towards your degree - so you can continue into your fourth year as if you never left McMaster
- As a McMaster student, you pay
NO International student Fees. Tuition is paid directly to McMaster
- International study enhances your marketability and gives you a competitive edge
- Gain the opportunity to learn a new language or develop fluency
- And of course, studying abroad provides you with AMAZING travel opportunities!
