Interim and Final Grades
I found this on my grade report and I don't know what it means. Although, my marks are listed in the final marks column (they were all 3 units), does this mean that my marks from first semester can be altered? If so, how? How is a final grade report different from an interim report anyway...By session, I think they are referring to Sept to April right?

RESULTS OF SESSION ARE NOT ASSESSED UNTIL AFTER ALL GRADES ARE RECEIVED AND
THE SESSION IS COMPLETE.
IN THE INTERIM, STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR EVALUATING THE EFFECT OF
THEIR RESULTS (AS RECORDED ABOVE) ON THEIR STATUS IN THEIR PROGRAMME.

It just means that they don't give you an official standing on your status in the program (i.e. eligible for entry into the next year or not) until all grades are received. This evaluation/assessment would be done in May after all your grades are received, including courses from this term. Also this means that they will not calculate your GPA until they have all courses available, so at that time they give you a calculation of your sessional GPA (and yes sessional = sept to april), as well as your cumulative GPA (if you're in first year then this is not relevant right now).
