Inventor HELP
Hey guys!

Anyone able to help me with Inventor?

I am having problem constraining a round pin into a round hole. I can stop its translation but can't stop the rotation of the object since there are no edges for me to work with.

I know it has something to do with using axis plane, but can't figure it out...

It's been a while since I've used Inventor, but I think there's something in the insert constraint that locks the rotation. If not, you can place a constraint on a plane of one part to the other part.

Mind if I ask more questions?

Trying to prepare for next week 20% exam by doing all the lab for practice.

In this particular one, can someone verify my sketches? Does it seems correct what I am doing?

This is for part "Button" in the following .pdf

good job, looks about right, i had that for my marked lab this week, dont worry about the interference between the screw and the handle, supposedly the thread is messed up on the handle or something

Next question:

For the following part (Shaft). I can't figure out how to center the hole. It needs to line up to the center mark, but how do you do this? I have the dimension from the center point to the outer edge. And I know how far from the outer edge it needs to be (equal to the radius), but since its round, I can't use it as a point.

i had trouble with that too, to fix it i just replaced the cylinder with a rectangular prism, made the hole, then sketched a circle on the front face and extruded
