On behalf of the McMaster-CCGHR Student Chapter, Brock-CCGHR Student Chapter and the University of Waterloo CCGHR Student Chapter Executive, we would like to invite the McMaster community to the 2015 Undergraduate Global Health Research Forum on Saturday February 7, 2015. It will be hosted for the first time by McMaster University, we HIGHLY encourage and welcome ALL students from ANY program/faculty to participate. The theme for this year’s Forum examines the role of global health research in empowering sustainable initiatives that build local state capacity in practice and strengthen social contracts in governance. Our aim is to attract students from various departments to a one-day interdisciplinary forum that facilitates dialogue on equity and sustainability in “glocal” health programs. Dr. Richard Heinzl will be delivering the keynote address, founder of the Canadian chapter of Doctors Without Borders (Medecins Sans Frontieres).
