To get more specific information to your own faculty (which courses you can TA/requirements for it), I'd look around your faculty's website.

Its only 12 courses a year. Which means 6 per term, of total 2 terms. I got 12 in first year, and 12 in second year. And It will not change, plus thoughs are core courses, if I fail, I'm pretty much screwed. Sweetness.
I heard some people have 14 a year, which is 7 per term. . .

That 7 courses per year thing reminds me of junior high. But it just seems a lot 6 or 7 per term because we're so used to 4 courses, like semestered-high school. :(

Yeah, I have 14 courses so far right now (officially on SOLAR)... but I'm going to drop 1 or 2 on Monday since there's so many conflicts.

I can only imagine! I think 12 is probably as high as I'd go.. maybe even cap it at 11. But to anyone who has done the 14 course thing. Good Job =O

Yeah, can you imagine? 7 exams in a three week period. Yikes. Kudos to anyone who can do that well.
Anyway, generally what kind of jobs are available on-campus? Especially for someone who hasn't had much experience.

Hey guys I've applied for so many jobs/volunteer positions and haven't gotten a single interview. I think something is wrong with my resume. Do I have to go to Career services in person or will I be able to eamil them to critique my resume?

There are tons of jobs available on campus. You likely don't realize how many different services and organizations are run by students. Unfortunately the hiring for most jobs during the academic year occurs in February/March, so most places aren't looking right now. But, keep checking OSCAR and something may come up!

You're logging in using your MAC ID. Soo... if you just applied for your MAC ID, it might be taking a couple days to take effect.

The transfer hasn't been made for first years yet. Please be patient it takes much time to transition all of the data.

Yay, so I was able to get onto Oscar tonight, but I ran into a conflict early on. It requires that I put in my major, but as I am an undergraduate, I don't have one as yet. What should I do? Put in a tentative major? :o.
