I'm a current first year student deciding between majoring in either JPPL or political science. I enjoy poli sci but I'm also interested in JPPL as I plan to go into law after my undergrad. I'm really conflicted on which I should major in and was wondering if anyone could offer some insight.
I like philosophy but I definitely enjoy poli sci more. But I'm also really drawn to the small and intimate size of JPPL and the fact that I feel like it'll prepare me better for law school. So, yeah, I'm having a pretty hard time making a decision!

Law school admission process takes students from every faculty, so there is no one program that can prepare you for law school. Pick the program where you think you can get 10+ and run with it, I chose accounting because I am good at it and it is in no way a disadvantage to taking any other major if it gets you the grades...

Philosophy will prepare you better for the LSAT. Been there, took that.

Both Political Science and Philosophy are difficult majors to get a 10+ in. I would major in Sociology, get a 11 GPA and go to Osgoode or U of T Law.
