Hey! I'm in JPPL for 2nd year. For first year I took every philosophy course I could and so did most other people in the program. The main class they care about is the philosophy and law in society one... 1B03 I think?, but it's recommended you just take as much philosophy as you can, and then write a good application when the time comes to apply. Good luck!

I took contemporary indigenous studies and it was really good, you learn the entire process of land claim disputes, and the history of residential schools. I also took history of modernity, it covered world history from 1750-1950 ish and was pretty good at looking at the political philosophies that helped shape the events in that time period. And then I took stuff like women's studies, peace studies, and labour studies, I just tried to take things that would give different viewpoints of justice.
