Kin 3v03
Hello,

Is anyone taking KIN 3V03 in the upcoming Summer 2012 Session (term 2)? If anyone who has taken the course previously could share some insight on workload that would be great! I have seen in the course outline that there is a group project, how much time commitment is involved? I am wondering as I am already taking 2 courses, and want to ensure 3 is manageable while still maintaining good grades. Thank you!

very manageable course.
I took it in the winter 2012, as that is the only time it is offered besides summer.
You will love Dr. Widmeyer and he is very knowledgeable in sports psych. He is very approachable, funny, and knows that we are students and will try to give you the highest mark as possible.
The group work requires alot of effort. first, you need a good group. It's not HARD per se, but it requires alot of time. He is expecting anything about for example, i did eating disorders EVERYTHING about EATING DISORDERS since 2005. from causes, treatments, measurements, etc. Very interesting when you research and don't worry you will have 5-6 people in your group.
You would think that having 5-6 people in the group would be easy, but it's not. Yes, you will do less research individually, but coming together and finalizing a cohesive work is hard as everyone has different styles of writing. That took up most of our group's time.

I ended up with a 12 because i just loveddd the material. it's so interesting! He makes it interesting!! The stuff isn't hard to study either If you have any other questions PM me. I'm also s.e.l.l.ing the textbook and other things with it, so let me know for a very good price.

steffsull says thanks to kwyhan for this post.
