Kinesiology students: How is MSK? (Musculoskeletal anatomy)
I was wondering how this course was because I've heard that it was a very difficult course.. How would you compare the workload to anatomy and physiology from first year? Is it difficult to achieve a 12?

Anatomy in first year can’t really be compared to MSK. With first year anatomy we covered broad topics, and most of the time you could get by with just memorizing the material. In MSK it’s more focused (basically bones, muscles, bones, muscles, muscles and more muscles) For the weekly quizzes in MSK it’s easy to get perfect on all them, just memorize the actions, insertions, origins and a couple of diagrams. But obviously if you want the quizzes to help you be prepared for the bigger things then I suggest you understand instead of memorize :3 So for the video tests and midterm, memorization won’t get you far, so make sure while you are studying you are understanding everything! Participate in the activity part in the class, make sure you understand what you’re palpating or what movement you are performing. Make good use of the resources provided like office hours and the TA. Also, In my opinion MSK requires a lot more studying than first year anatomy.
If you put in a lot of effort, you just might get a decent mark ;p
