Late assignment on snow day
Hi, thanks in advance for you time!

I had an assignment due yesterday at 4pm and was unable to finish it on time, however I was on my way to school earlier today to hand it in by 4pm so that I would only lose 5% (prof has assigned a 5% late penalty per day) however, due to the snow storm and McMaster closing at 11:30 this morning, I cannot hand it in. So if I were to hand in my assignment tomorrow morning (provided the school is open) will I lose an additional 5%, meaning a total of 10% or will they just take the original 5% off?

If anyone has experienced this in the past or is aware of a policy, your knowledge would be greatly appreciated!

The snow closure says deadlines are pushed back to the next open day. So you should be given the same penalty as if you were handing it in today.
