Latin is always offered during the year by the Department of Classics, and this summer was the first summer in which they were offering both first and second year Latin (in addition to first and second year Ancient Greek). It may become a new trend for the Department to offer Latin every summer, as they have had to create more Cores for first year Latin due to an increasing demand for the class every year.

I was interested in taking Latin 1Z03 too, but I read another thread and everyone was saying it's one of the hardest language courses at McMaster...
