Leftover Meal Plan Money
Hey guys,

I had a question, I have around 1400 dollars left on my meal plan and was wondering if you had any tips on how to use it up? Also, is there any way that the money can get transferred to my student account for next year?

Thanks!

have a huge feast !
and i don't think you can transfer it for next year ( correct me if i'm wrong), just buy lots of food and take it home
tip for next year get the smallest size and if you finish it ahead add on to it

This should all be outlined on the hospitality website, but money in your "basic" account doesn't transfer over, while "freedom" and "flex" dollars do. So just saying you have $400 means nothing with respect to whether or not it carries over, what matters is which account(s) the money is in. If you aren't sure, you can check this by visiting the hospitality website and logging on.

Closer to the end of the year, you'll see some of the stores on campus try to clear out any excess inventory and a bunch of students buying boxes and boxes of candy they can't possibly finish alone in order to get rid of their remaining funds.

That's one idea.

Unless most of your money's on the flex plan. Then just save it for next year.

Anything on the Basic plan you can't use off campus disappears at the end of the year, so start using it up now! At the end of the year, like people said, is that they place boxes around of like 20 chocolate bars and other stuff so you can buy in bulk and take it home to help use it up

Charge people you know that aren't on residence half price for dinners if you want some cash back. Booster Juice seems like a good money dump if you just don't care.
