life sci year 1, neuro sci year 2
hey guys!! So I've been looking at what are my options for second year and neuroscience and biology caught my attention. However coming out of high school I did not have 30 options for a biology courses. So in general what is a price of advice for picking first courses ? And also some suggestions for electives ?? As a propestive student in neuro sci, those who are in, what is suggested to take and etc?!
All I know is I have to take physics, not the lab, for I haven't taken grade 12 physics

so you definitely want to take Chem 1A03 and Chem 1AA3 and Bio IA03 and Bio 1M03. Psych 1X03 and 1XX3. You'd have to take Physics 1L03 since you've never taken high school physics and Math 1A03 OR 1AA3 and then you would be able to have 2 electives (6 units). Remember the minimum average required to get into your second year program may actually be much lower than the actual cutoff (some specialty programs can require a 10 average cutoff even though the minimum is a 6) so make sure you look into this!

Firstly, there is no "neuroscience" program. The program is called Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour (PNB).
The program you are referring to is a double major of PNB and Biology, and it's called BIOPSYCH. It has it's OWN pre-reqs that are different than PNB and Biology, so you can't use the above links that someone posted.

Here are the biopsych pre-reqs.

As mentioned above, you need to take the standard life science courses (Bio 1M03, 1A03, Chem 1A03, 1AA3, Psych 1X03, 1XX3, etc. etc.). You'll need to take Psychics 1L03, but you're also expected to complete 1B03 by the end of second year as that is a requirement of the biopsych program. Biopsych is a limited entry program like PNB, and your marks in the Psych 1X03, 1XX3, Bio 1M03 and 1A03 and Chem 1A03 and Chem 1AA3 are especially important in order to be considered for entry because there are limited spots in the program.
