Really? I find my lips get even drier when I lick my lips.

they pretty much all work... anything more than $5 is expensive for a lipbam, lol, wait until they go on sale (which is like all the time). and avoid licking ur lips as much as possible =)
try putting a thick layer of Vasline on before bed time, u'll be amazed the next morning!

I have two criteria for chapstick.

1) I don't want it to be visible. I don't like the look of lipgloss, and therefore I don't like looking as though I'm wearing it when I'm wearing chapstick. It's why I don't like Blistex - too shiny.
2) I don't want my hair to get stuck in it when it's windy outside. Sounds stupid, but that's a pain in the ass.

Burts Bees meets both requirements, so I like it.

My lips get like that pretty quickly, like a day or two out in the cold and they're like that. Usually I would just use vaseline but it wasn't doing the trick for me this year. So it wasn't really that I left them like that it's that my usual remedy wasn't working for me.
