*looks at thread title*...oh

well Black is an exceptional game and NFS HP is coming to the PC anyway, just the demo isn't.

I'm gonna be at 4th floor Mills this Sunday from 2pm - 4pm playing NFS HP most probably on an Xbox 360. @anyone: Feel free to join but be warned that the demo doesn't have a splitscreen/multiplayer mode.

Update:
- Assassin's Creed 1 & 2 (and Brotherhood)

I liked WC3.

While it isn't as good as SC2, it did come out 7 years before it, and for a game that's almost a decade old and still popular I think it's pretty awesome.

The campaign was great, the multiplayer was pretty good, and yeah, the custom maps were awesome.

Omigosh grim fandango, does that even run on Windows 7? DO WANT!

Last I recall getting it to run on 7 with 64 bit is near impossible..

And since we're going that far back, here's another one of my old favourites:

Who can say no to Christopher Walken and an all-star cast teeming with hilarity and awesome.

I've been trying to get it to work ( I have 7 w/ 64 bit :/). I downloaded it using a bit torrent but it won't work for me. I then acquired a Grim Fandango launcher, but it says I need the actual disk to play it which sucks because I don't have the disk...
I'll probably buy it because it is an awesome game but I don't want to buy it and then not have it work with the launcher.

I did hear a rumour that Valve was working on putting Grim Fandango on Steam, but I don't know the validity of that rumour. It would seem likely because other Lucasarts games have been released on steam (i.e., Monkey Island series)

You can try finding a torrent the ISOs of the disc and mounting them. I remember having a lot of problems getting Grim to work. You can try running it through Residual, but it's still in early development.

All those old LucasArts adventure games are awesome. I played a lot of them as a kid. It's kind of sad adventure games aren't as popular anymore. I don't think a lot of people would have the patience to play through something like Myst today.
