Looking for a Bassist & Drummer (w/ Drum Kit)
It would be preferred that you have a drum kit. Because, well, that would just be awesome.

I play guitar (I only have my acoustic), and I'd be doing vocals. My buddy Elliott, would be playing lead guitar.

This was sort of all thrown together completely out of nowhere, we've been in a band together before and he was all "lets give it a go again".

So, let us know what you're interested in. We're probably going for an indie feel!

Jam session sometime? Let us know when you're free!

Hey All!

I'm the Elliott that Hilary mentioned in her first post..

In terms of music, I'm really open to anything. Bands off the top of my head that I like are Arcade Fire, The Courteeners, Arctic Monkeys, the Editors, RHCP, etc.

But it's really varied, I was playing in a hardcore/screamo band for a bit (BMTH, Attack Attack, etc), so I'm really open to ANYTHING.

I also play trumpet, classical piano, guitar, bass, and synth, so our options are open.

What I've been thinking about for a bit is starting a band along the same lines as We Are Wolves or Holy F**k - I could play synth in that situation, because, lets face it, guitarists are a dime a dozen.

What kind of bands are you into? I'm also not really looking for a really big commitment right now, just a jamband / weekends sort of thing, because my program is pretty heavy.

Elliot?!

Man, you're the dude I met at the bus stop downtown. LOL!

Awesome!

RHCP? Man, it's hard to be a Flea impersonator.

This is going to sound so ridiculously cliche, but I'm in love with Metric. I also really adore the Arctic Monkeys, but I guess they're not as indie as they used to be?

I'm pretty much cool with whatever, I guess. I mean, there is a lot that you can do with an acoustic.

I mean, when you look at my iPod, I'm kind of a top40 Junkie. It's a little ridiculous. My favourite bands are Three Days Grace and Avenged.

So whatever you're down for, whatever you'd prefer, is cool with me.

And yeah, that Elliott kid, good kid.

@Brandon -

Do you have a kit at Mac? If so, would you like to jam some time?

I don't, but if you guys are serious about starting up a band, i wouldn't mind bringing them down or buying a new one for that matter

Sounds good! Where abouts do you live?

We seem to be pretty serious, we have 2 guitarists, a bassist, and (now) a drummer! If you brought your kit down, would you mind jamming at your house?

Sorrry!
Yes, with an extra 'R', that's how sorry I am!

I've been a little (okay, a lot), out of the loop.

Feel free to send me an email at [email protected], or add me to msn with that address, or add me on skype hilary.chase.

I'm constantly checking those.

I like the way this sounds though!

If no one minds, I'd like to focus on vocals. I'm sure we can get another guitarist.
