A lot of you talk about the hobbit as though it was just that one film. That was only part one, y'know.
We have yet to see how the next two parts will unfold, and I personally stand in the camp of those happy that peter jackson decided to expand it into 3 films. after reading the hobbit, I found it fine as a simple short story, but it could've been more on the level of LOTR if Tolkein HAD shown us gandalf's side and all of those other facets of the story (more about beorn, as well as radagast/the necromancer arc etc.) that Peter Jackson is aiming to do by expanding it into a trilogy. I have faith in how the three movies will come together.
How can you not be happy to immerse yourself in another 9 hours of middle earth ?
if they release extended editions of the hobbit films, we can have 24hr tolkein marathons!
