Mac Email?
Hey guys,
So I activated my MacID today. I tried it out on MUGSI and I can log in fine but when I try to log in to my email, it says the user ID or password is incorrect. I tried resetting my password but it still doesn't work.
Any advice? I'd really like to join the Mac network on Facebook. And, you know, have a working Mac email.

Its not a technical issue with your account specifically....I dont think they have any of the e-mails running yet....mine doesn't work either.

When you activate your macid services, email doesn't get activated instantly. You need to wait 24 hours or longer before it will work
You also need to have accepted your payment agreement, etc.

Yeah I don't have an e-mail yet, and I get the same problem logging in with my macID... I'll just wait until registration I guess.

What do you mean under a 'wrong name'... your macid is incorrectly named?? As long as you can activate it you'll be ok to register courses

Your email cannot be enabled until you are fully registered in courses, which will take place later this summer. At that time, you will need to enable your macid services as indicated below.
Once you have registered in courses, your services will need to be enabled to activate your email account.
To enable your macid services :
1) Log into MUGSI with you Mac ID and password.
2) Click on "Enable Your Mac ID Services" under "Quick Links" on the right hand side of the page.
This will activate your account. You will log into your email account using the same Mac ID and password that you use to log into MUGSI.
Please note that you will not be able to use your account until the day after you perform this function.

hello sinthusized
maybe you can re-activate it and reset your backup questions. And you can only access MUGSI by you MAC ID and password ,after you have finished courses selections can you use it to access MUSS(e-mail,etc.)
ps. i am also a freshman 08/09,:-P
