Mastering the Art of Meetings

Have you ever found yourself in situations where you have a group of highly motivated individuals with a common goal but cannot seem to find a good place to start? Or perhaps the group has much to offer but little time for decisive action? Getting groups of people together is a difficult task, but to have the group committed to attending regular productive meetings is a challenge even for the most charismatic leaders! In this workshop, we will focus on the foundations of a good meeting by highlighting key elements in preparation and facilitation. This workshop will give you tips, frameworks, samples and practical experiences to help you and your team master the art of meetings.
Getting the Word Out: Marketing and Promotion

This workshop will teach students effective ways of promoting their events and clubs and organizations, create effective posters, and learn about key marketing concepts which will be used in planning their promotions. Upon completing this workshop, students will be able to properly plan, organize, and market their clubs, organizations, and events to the student body.
Passing the Torch: Succession Planning and Transition

The Succession and Transition Planning Workshop is useful for those looking to acquire skills regarding the creation of appropriate transition material for individuals who will one day fill their current roles. This workshop is also for those who have not been provided adequate transition material and will not only help in the development of methods to acquire information needed to be successful in the role but also tools needed to start developing transitional material from day one.
