Are you vegetarian, vegan, or simply interested in learning more about vegetarian diets and lifestyles?

The Mac Veggie Club will be starting up this January and is open to anyone who would like to find out more (and help share information) about living a healthy, vegetarian lifestyle. You do NOT have to be vegetarian or vegan to join! Also this club does not have any affiliation with PETA, and is open to all types of vegetarianism. Whether you are vegetarian because of ethical issues, religion, dietary benefits, or another reason, everyone is welcome!

Just a few things we plan to do are:
- provide information on healthy alternative foods and information on how to maintain a well-balanced vegetarian diet
- spread awareness on the health and environmental benefits of being vegetarian
- share recipes
- explore Hamilton's vegetarian restaurants
- organize a Meatless in March event at McMaster
