We recently
posted a survey for all members to fill out and give us honest feedback on how we can improve MacInsiders. If you haven't filled it out yet, please do so
here. It's only 3 questions.
While the responses still continue to pour in, we've seen one particular item surfacing as an annoyance to users which is the Marketplace Restriction we have in place requiring users to have at least 1 post in the forums before being able to use our marketplace feature. While this restriction had it's merits (we want the marketplace to be utilized by our community members and not by people who sign up just to sell stuff and not take part in the forums), it has ended up causing there to be a lot of useless and spammy forum posts that users have made simply to unlock the marketplace feature.
In response to this feedback, we have now removed the Marketplace 1 Post requirement. Users can now freely post into our Marketplace without posting in the community discussion forums.
Thank you. And we will continue to respond to your
feedback and suggestions.
