Dear MI Community,

A suggestion was brought up by the community to put together an FAQ section that would house all (or at least most) of the commonly asked questions that are posted to the discussion forums on a regular basis. Having a common page with FAQs would not only help students who might have a question and need a quick answer, but would also help cut down on duplicate/similar threads asking questions that may have already been answered or are too buried deep in the site they are hard to find.

But we can't do this on our own. We need your help. With the pooled resources of multiple students across different faculties, we can ensure no questions are left out:

Thanks everyone for slowly building this FAQ document up! It's looking great so far.

The faculty-specific areas are not being filled in with questions though. Do you feel there are faculty-specific questions that should be addressed? Please post them. I know for a fact that Engineering and Sciences have a lot of faculty-specific things when it comes to first-year or moving into upper years and choosing what to specialize in. Are those worth mentioning in the FAQ?
