Hey guys, we need you, our Insider Members, to choose which movie we'll show at our first Movie Night event that will take place after reading week!

The movie has Russell Crowe in it so I figure it must be at least worth watching

Looks like babel is definately in the lead!

Did you guys saw "The Departed" already? Babel's cool though! You're missing several others like Pan's Labyrith, Letters From Iwo Jima, The Queen, and The Last King of Scotland. I am SO "Oscar"!

We were going to show The Departed... but it was shown during welcome week as a pre-screener, and everyone has seen it since its such an amazing movie

pan's Labyrinth isn't in DVD format yet... its still at the theaters.

We can only show released dvd's...

When it comes out on dvd we'll definately be holding a movie event for it!

Our event will be taking place NEXT WEEK (Thursday or Friday evening!)

Which day would you all prefer?

If it was on a Friday it would probably conflict with the new movies that are coming out in theaters. I think Thursdays would be fine.

Ya, thursday seems to be a decent sounding night. There is a group that uses the Clubspace room (where we plan on showing the movie) every thursday till 6:30, so we'd do it after they leave if thursday is the desired day

What you need is some movie usher with a uniform, name tag, and hat directing people to their seats and saying, "Emergency exits are to your left or right of the screen" or "Please hang on to your ticket stub", or "Please turn off your cell phones during the duration of the movie", or my favourite, "copying or videotaping is strictly prohibited". We need that, and a concession stand selling popcorn and drinks.

If you can supply the concession stand, drinks, uniform, name tag, and red hat. I'm game.
