Macinsiders redirect
I'm getting redirected from random pages on MI (in various threads, main page, etc) to some advert garbage.. maybe broken ad code? Not sure what I've been doing for this to happen, but anyone else getting it?

yup, same strategy as the wikipedia blackout, just click stop on the taskbar every time you load a page  |

Maybe this was what Google was warning us about?
In my experience, it only happens if I leave MI on for a while.

Thanks for your help tracking this down. I will be putting a check on MI that should detect if a third-party ad tries to break the site or redirect, and it will alert you before it happens so you can stay on MacInsiders. I've contacted our third-party advertising provider about the issue.

Thanks for promptly fixing this, but now if I use the back button (go back one page), my browser will freeze on the destination url, but not actually load it. (for me; firefox)
Clicking the address bar and pressing enter finishes loading page. |
