Manage Your Grades!
So I've been working on an app for grades management. Its pretty intuitive and straightforward. You input your mark, save, and it calculates your course mark and CGPA if you enter multiple courses.

This version is specifically for McMaster (12.0 scale) so I would like it if you guys could give me some feedback on this! I want to iron out any bugs and such before school starts so you guys can use this app during the term to keep track of your marks. ANY and all feedback is appreciated.

Currently, only available on Android 3.0+ devices. Support for android 2.2+ will be coming soon (as possibly iOS depending on the feedback). For those of you without an android 3.0+ or Android device in general, check out this guide to run android on your PC to manage your marks: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...hp?t=2333 452

If you like the app, or the effort, please click an ad to support!

*Tested on Samsung Galaxy S3 and Nexus 4

Nifty.

I simply use Excel. It pretty much does the same thing.

No doubt the app will be extremely useful.

You've probably considered this but, you may want to add in conversion to 4.0 scale. Could be a chart to show the conversion since you've included a letter grade in the cGPA or just display the actual converted number next to it.

Thanks for the feedback! The feature is in the works right now and should be out in the next update or two

You can also consider devising some kind of scheme for the app to show averages per subject or department. This could be useful for people interested in their average between their core courses and electives, which may play a role for those looking to do graduate school.

Another neat thing you can add in might be something that let's the app calculate minimum marks necessary for the rest of the semester's work in order to achieve a particular overall mark.

This is pretty cool. I use excel as well, having an app would've been handy, but I guess iOS people will just stick to excel for now!

This is a pretty cool app that I would consider using (iOS please!)
I currently have an app for my mac and iPad called iStudiez Pro which has a section that does this. It allows you to choose the GPA scale though which is cool. It might be useful to check out if you ever consider expanding outside of McMaster!

Very useful. I either use my calculator or my roommate for this.

Expansion for other universities/GPA scales is coming soon, and also support for iOS possibly.

If you guys could leave feedback on google play as well that would be awesome

Looks nice!
I actually made a java app that can calculate gpa and convert to 4.0 scale (I guess I'm just not a fan of excel) and was thinking of making it into an android app but never got around to it.

You should think about adding a section for past courses so that a person can add all of their previous courses and final grades to see what their cumulative average is (and to convert to 4.0 cgpa). And also be able to section them off so that sessional average can be calculated too.
Also, for the current courses where it has all the assignments and marks, I think it would be useful to make an option to add more assessments since some courses have a lot of labs and assignments and stuff.

Just some ideas

The app keeps crashing every time I try to add a second course to the list. Just a heads up.

It'd probably help if you listed what phone you're using and what version of Android.
