How many students in the faculty of science?
^ I just need to know this for an application and the McMaster site is a pain to wade through.

I believe it is 500-600 students per year.

I'm pretty sure first year includes way more than 500-600 students. But the drop off is pretty substantial as you go up through the years.
Getting the actual number must be a pain, probably the best option is to contact the dean or something/

I'm pretty sure that first year science has at least 1000 students.

This year the university gave out way too many admissions. They have 300 more first year students in the faculty of science than they anticipated.

I was hoping the SRA would know :p
But I guess 2400 total would be a good estimate? Then again, there's always part time and 5th year students too.

At least Mac doesn't have the policy where a certain percentage has to fail out (not including engineering)? :p

First year chem has like 1500 ish students right? So I'd say about that many people in the faculty of science, give or take a couple hundred

We have 20,000 full-time UNDERGRADS in the university, so may be like 3000 is science?

Science has just over 5000 students in science... you can accurately state 5000 students.
Being directly involved in the faculty since first year, I can tell you this is accurate. We are the largest faculty on campus.
