Canadian literary icon Margaret Atwood is in town Tuesday to catch glimpses of Hamilton and read from her new book at the Central Library.
The award-winning author is going on a private tour of the city with Mayor Bob Bratina and will sign books and read from her latest work, In Other Worlds, at a free event in the evening.
The public event at 7 p.m. will also feature a Q&A moderated by the city’s chief librarian, Ken Roberts, followed by about 10 minutes of questions from the audience.
Atwood has said she will sign books until about 9 p.m. — as many copies of her latest book as possible and only one copy of any previous novel per person, Hamilton Public Library spokesperson Rob Plant said Monday.
