Canadian literary icon Margaret Atwood is in town Tuesday to catch  glimpses of Hamilton and read from her new book at the Central Library. 
The award-winning author is going on a private tour of the city with  Mayor Bob Bratina and will sign books and read from her latest work, In  Other Worlds, at a free event in the evening. 
 The public event at 7 p.m. will also feature a Q&A moderated by  the city’s chief librarian, Ken Roberts, followed by about 10 minutes of  questions from the audience. 
Atwood has said she will sign books until about 9 p.m. — as many  copies of her latest book as possible and only one copy of any previous  novel per person, Hamilton Public Library spokesperson Rob Plant said  Monday.
