Depends on the course, but it's usually not the TAs.

When I mark assignments, I enter the marks into Avenue. This should extend to most undergrad courses.

No, for most courses - particularly the large ones - it is not the TA. I TA'd a couple of different undergrad courses, and I know many many grad students who TA other courses, and none of them actually enter the grades. Many don't even have access to the course on Avenue. There are a few courses where the TAs do it directly, but they are the exception rather than the rule.

I guess I'm pretty special, haha.

Felix: I think that's an SGES thing. I'm also a TA and input all of my students grades except for their exams (and even those we sometimes help with).

I know for Bio 1A03, TAs submit the marks to the IA, and they input the grades, so it varies by department and maybe even course.
