Marks for Deferred stuff?
Has anyone who wrote a deferred exam got a mark yet? I wrote mine almost 3 weeks ago and I still got nothing.
My residence room is being held for me until my marks come in but I'm still getting nervoussss. How am I going to be on the IRC without being in rez
Is anyone still waiting as well?

I believe you're supposed to get it the same time that summer school final marks are posted which would be August 25th.
I'm not 100% on that however.

I am in the EXACT same situation as you. My housing plans for next year didn't work out too well. Instead, I applied for residence as an SRA member so I'm also guaranteed residence. However, I have to wait for my deferred exam grades before I can find out whether I get residence or not. Waiting really sucks!

The res admissions process is so weird. I'm also not impressed that they removed the ability for students to rank their choices by building and instead only allow it by room type now.

Fadil,
The first years "unassigneds" would like to thank you for occupying their residence spots while you attempt to conquer your academic obstacles, lol.

Haha Alvin, actually, I am currently on the waiting list while they figure out the whole thing with my deferred exams so I cannot be blamed for any of it.

Ahhh!! Isn't it horrible?!
Did you get to pick your building? If so which one did you pick? IRC exec gets to pick their exact room and I picked Moulton 427.
I'm really freaking out that Res Admissions has a secret deadline for our reserved rooms and then they're going to be assigned to people on the waiting list soon.
AHH!
Plus theres the very traumatizing sight of an F beside the DEF on the grade report!
This sucks!

Yeah, it's terrible. This year, rez admissions messed up pretty bad in my opinion. I am also beginning to worry about what will happen to my rez assignment and everything. Nope, I didn't get to decide which building and room I wanted. I had to fill out a regular application. SRA members are guaranteed residence but undergo still fill out the same application as upper year students. But yeah, I'm worried about the deferred exams too since I wrote three. It could be the major deciding factor as to whether I'm going to be requiring reinstatement at the university and whether I get rez. It's so nerve-racking!

Hello First Years Unassigneds,
I just stole 100 of Mr. Elshaikh's "Insider points" on your behalf. I think you will find this act to be a most satisfactory appeasement for your hassles.
