MarOONSHINE

LAST WEEK TO BUY YOUR TICKETS

Imagine a time where gangsters such as Bonnie and Clyde, Al Capone, John Dillinger, 'Baby Face' Nelson roamed the streets. The Maroons are hosting the first ever Maroons Formal with the rustic feel of the 1920s. Take a trip back to the decade of prohibition and write your own name in Maroons' history as one of the attendees to enter Festival Banquet Hall, and learn to swing dance. As of 10:30, the music will change to a DJ that will mash up some of today's greatest hits!

Tentative Itinerary:

8:30 pm - Doors open, 5-piece swing band to accompany social hour
9:15 pm - Large selection of finger food, hors d'oeuvres, etc.
10:15 pm - Brief announcements, prizes for best costumes
10:30 pm to 1:30 am - DJ and dancing
11:00 pm - Coffee, tea & desserts

This formal will only be $30, full of food, dance, music and roundtrip transporation! Rock the Flapper look or the look of the true American Gangster as a night of mayhem will surely ensue.

Tickets will be on sale in the Maroons office, MUSC B111.
