Haskell. She explains things much better than the other professor who has an accent.

I was looking her up on ratemyprofessors and apparantly she's really tough and no so friendly. I do very well in math, but would I be putting myself at a disadvantage if I were to choose her over the other prof?

I completely agree with this statement. In fact you don't even really need to know what is going on. In Math 1AA3, I had no idea what was going on. I stopped going to class and just focused on how to do questions and I almost aced the course.

Haskell and Marikova are the only profs teaching, and it's only offered first term.

Haskell. I heard many complaints about Marikova from my roommate in first year.

agreed. I never went to class because it no longer felt necessary. BUT go to tutorials!!

I had Marikova for 1A03, and I didn't like her at all.. I couldn't understand what she was saying and her writing was really messy too

Are the tests/exams/assignments the same, regardless of the prof?

Marikova is terrible, she has a hard to understand accent, and when you do get it you realise all she does is read the textbook, do the textbook examples, then assign the main problems from each section. we stopped going, and just read the textbook instead.

i've never had haskell, but I haven't heard anything that bad about her.
