I don't understand why ignorant people go on strike.

1. They loose money because they spend time siting on their a55 and after all they may or may not get a raise.

2. It is their problem if they hate their life because they dropped out of high school and the best job that they could earn was flipping burgers.

3. They are making people hate them. In this case the on campus students.

1. Some still are paid while on strike, and some get immediate compensation when a strike ends.. either way, the idea is to work for a long term goal, not worry about immediate financial concerns.

2. The people you're talking about are hard-working individuals who mostly are older, and have a family to support.. the people who serve and tend to your food needs arn't comparible to 'burger flippers', a lot of the food thats served is very nicely prepared.

3. Students are stupid.

I omitted #4 because it was an ad hominem.

I couldn't care less about this strike. It another one of those BS things. Not to mention that it doesn't effect me in any way.

I don't care how hard working these people are. You don't try to blackmail a whole community to get more money when you don't deserve it. If you want a better job go back to school and get an education. If you don't like it LEAVE.

It's not that bad, I realized. Centro, Bistro/MiniMac are still open. I think I'll survive .

Sidenote-It amuses me how almost everyone chose "Cheesecake" for the poll above.
