Mayoral All Candidates Debate in MUSC on Oct 19

The MSU will host a Mayoral All Candidates debate on Tuesday, October 19th from 2pm-4pm in the Atrium of MUSC. All are welcome to attend and no registration is required. Also on hand will be the candidates for Ward One. Please submit a question for the candidates!
On October 25th, Municipal Elections will be held. You will have the opportunity to vote for the Mayor of the City of Hamilton, as well as the City Councillor for your local Ward (McMaster/Westdale are located in Ward One).
The municipal government affects your day-to-day life in ways other governments do not. The City is responsible for public transit (the HSR), tenancy issues, police, fire, bylaws, trash removal, water, sewage, culture, snow removal, roads, sidewalks, parks, street lights, traffic lights and much more. All of these things touch your life, but most people do not give them a second thought. Come here what the candiates have to say and make your voice heard on Oct 25th.
