McMaster ecoMentors
Hi everyone,

Just wanted to introduce a new McMaster club and invite you all to visit us at ClubsFest (Table #260) and at our information sessions!

Information Sessions are on:

Monday Sept 19: 7-8 PM at Clubspace (MUSC 215)
Wednesday Sept 21: 7-8 PM at Clubspace (MUSC 215)

Who are ecoMentors?

ecoMentors are environmental youth leaders who aim to raise awareness and promote positive change in support of a healthier environment.

We are an authorized club of Earth Day Canada’s ecoMentors program (www.ecomentors.ca). Our purpose is to bring this initiative to McMaster and local Hamilton communities for children in Grades 1 to 6.

How will we do this?

We will lead environmental workshops, lessons and activities in local elementary school classrooms. To see sample lesson plans visit: http://ecomentors.ca/resources_lesson_plan s.php

Why should you be an ecoMentor?

  • Gain skills in leadership and facilitation
  • Engage young people in our community
  • Explore your career options
  • Receive ecoMentors certification and reference letters from Earth Day Canada

E-mail us!

If you have any further questions or want to sign up to be on our mailing list e-mail us at [email protected]!
