Did they check the junk mail and spam filters? It could be that the message is getting filtered out.

Hey guys,
Yes regular e-mail works. There is no particular error, its just that she is not receiving the conformation (not in spam as well).

Check the e-mail address that you registered with. If it was regular McMaster e-mail ([email protected]), the advice given should help sort this out. But, if it was sent out of Avenue ([email protected], or [email protected] r.ca), then the problem is that Avenue does not allow any incoming external e-mail. This quirk is a deliberate part of the design of Avenue mail.

They really shouldn't have based Avenue mail on an actual email system... especially an asymmetric one.

Which Facebook group(s) is he/she trying to get into?

We run the Class Of 2017 one (https://www.facebook.com/groups/McMasterClassOf2017/)
..and 2016 (https://www.facebook.com/groups/mcmaster2016/)

Let me know his/her name via PM and I will accept them into the group.
