I am pretty sure it was filmed in the pool, and then made to look like a lake.

Bahahhah have you never seen the lake inside Ivor Wynne? Its actually built over a section of Lake Ontario. So Go down to B2(you know when you go down the stairs to "IWC 3" for writing an exam) for access to it, but you'll need a special one time permit from the University for it. It all got messed up after CBC One hour did a report on how open access that lake is and some Reporter managed to "Walk in" to the lake facilities without anyone asking for ID; Claimed terrorists could have access to it etc. The Lake actually glows blue as seen in the movie!

I remember reading a chem textbook in grade 12 about the VESPR theory being created by some dude at Mac. Is that true? lol

Yes. VESPR is developed by an professor at Mac many years ago. According to my chem prof last term, they have a picture of him somewhere in the chemistry department.

And no one mentioned about the nuclear reactor? (I think) We are the only school in Canada which has a reactor on campus.

Didnt you see that 16x9 report? I know there's at least one in montreal they were talking about as well, but from what i recall there were 6 all over canada in schools.
