I did some searching and I got a list of reactors from Wiki:

Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia
Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal, Montreal
McMaster Nuclear Reactor
Royal Military College, Kingston, Ontario
University of Alberta
University of Toronto (Closed in 2001)

That makes 5 functional. Not sure if the Saskatchewan Research Council is owned or controlled by the saskatchewan university, but that is another possible one.

Sorry if this has already been mentioned!

I believe The Silhouette is the most widely read student newspaper in Canada.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure I read that in the paper somewhere.

Source? I find that hard to believe

Edit... looked around:

Canada's Wonderland is 330 acres, 330 acres = 14 374 800 square feet.
The hospital provides 1,335,433 square feet.

That's not even close.

Glanced at other buildings too... Scotia Plaza in Toronto is 2million, First Canadian Place is 2.8million.

Totally untrue. Most widely circulated sure, but read, no.

It's unique in that the Sil is one of the few campus newspapers which is run by the Student Union, with no competitor. Other schools have papers that are independent as well.

Hmm. Maybe it's "the most widely read Student run newspaper" ?

Most newspapers are student run. The Sil definitely cannot be the most widely read. They circulate 10,000 issues but in truth, a lot of those sit in the back loading dock, a lot of people read the newspaper online, etc. Plus we don't have a very big school compared to many others. We are reasonably medium sized as far as Ontario Universities go.

Then again, I am just making these statements purely out of my own logic and knowledge, so I could be entirely wrong.

I was attempting to quote something that my housemate was given as a 'fun fact' when she did tours with the student liaison office... I don't have details.. maybe ask that office for more points that have the actual details that I can never remember. I'm sure they will have a lot of good stuff

Mac researchers are conducting the first clinical trials ever on humans for a TB Vaccine.

Mac has produced at least 3 Nobel Laureates.

I just went through all my copies of The Sil from this term (which is almost every week) and I can't find the ad. Apparently I made it up? =P
I'm pretty sure the ad said something like "Do you want to work for the most widely read student newspaper in Canada?" I wish I could find it.
