I did some searching and I got a list of reactors from Wiki:
Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia
Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal, Montreal
McMaster Nuclear Reactor
Royal Military College, Kingston, Ontario
University of Alberta
University of Toronto (Closed in 2001)
That makes 5 functional. Not sure if the Saskatchewan Research Council is owned or controlled by the saskatchewan university, but that is another possible one.

Sorry if this has already been mentioned!
I believe The Silhouette is the most widely read student newspaper in Canada.
I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure I read that in the paper somewhere.

Totally untrue. Most widely circulated sure, but read, no.
It's unique in that the Sil is one of the few campus newspapers which is run by the Student Union, with no competitor. Other schools have papers that are independent as well.

Most newspapers are student run. The Sil definitely cannot be the most widely read. They circulate 10,000 issues but in truth, a lot of those sit in the back loading dock, a lot of people read the newspaper online, etc. Plus we don't have a very big school compared to many others. We are reasonably medium sized as far as Ontario Universities go.
Then again, I am just making these statements purely out of my own logic and knowledge, so I could be entirely wrong.

Mac researchers are conducting the first clinical trials ever on humans for a TB Vaccine.
Mac has produced at least 3 Nobel Laureates.

I just went through all my copies of The Sil from this term (which is almost every week) and I can't find the ad. Apparently I made it up? =P
I'm pretty sure the ad said something like "Do you want to work for the most widely read student newspaper in Canada?" I wish I could find it.
