Just wanted to share this other forum for gaming enthusiasts... actually surprised that Mac Insiders kept the gaming forum after Mac LAN Club was founded in May 2008... They should merge them

Any left 4 dead 2 team play?

I wouldn't mind a versus 4v4 or some expert realism campaign play or something.

Otherwise I'm definitely showing up with my buddy to play some SC2 if there are any events in november/december that don't coincide with midterms/finals..

We used to play a lot of L4D one, but it was graphics intensive on some pplz laptops last year.. we should start playing it again
L4D2 = not unique enough compared to the first one to warrant having both on our server...

I used to be a semi-avid gamer...

sigh, the good ol' days where I could play endless video games and still get high grades, haha

I'm on a pretty good study/work habit streak, I don't wanna ruin it, LOL

Besides, I doubt my laptop can actually run any games

One better then AOE2? Warcraft 2 BNET Edition LAN!

Im currently creating a slimed down windows 98se Vmware image that runs off the free Vmware Player Now everyone, including Windows 7 64bit can play Warcraft 2 BNET edition at our lan parties!

It requires IPX (a novel closed source component), that will not work on 64bit at all, but vmware abstracts away the network interface

hopefully the same strategy will work for CnC red alert.

Warcraft 2 was my favorite rts, this is awesome news
