That's right. McMaster does have a gaming team for League of Legends. Whether you call video games a sport or not, we have worked hard to get to where we are. After two years starting bottom up, we have landed in the top 8 spot for Riot Collegiate Championships. We will be competing Saturday Feb 15 around 8pm EST after LCS finishes against University of Washington. Competing not only puts us in the top 4, but wins us a trip to play in the LCS studios on Feb 22-23
I believe MacLegends is hosting a meetup to watch it live on campus. I'll update this later
